There are many ways to support Sonoma Botanical Garden
Give a friend or family member a Membership to the Garden. Participate in our Planned Giving, Legacy Giving or Tribute & Memorial Gifts programs. Make an ongoing or one-time Donation (below). Or give the gift of your time and become a Volunteer.
Sonoma Botanical Garden is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and depends on contributions to continue the garden’s work in plant conservation and science education.
Giving a donation does not mean you will automatically become a Member. Donations and Memberships are classified differently. While a donation can be written off for tax purposes in its entirety, only a portion of a membership can be written off, if any, depending on the level of membership. As a Member, "goods and services" are received as part of the membership benefits; therefore, that value cannot be written off.
