Facilities Horticulture Specialist

As a member of the Garden’s small horticultural and facilities team, the Facilities Horticulture Specialist works independently and as part of a team to: 1) maintain facilities; 2) focus on irrigation and preventative maintenance and repairs for this system as needed; 3) support garden operations by means of a broad set of activities; and 4) support a quality visitor experience. The work consists of 75% facilities-related responsibilities and 25% horticulture-related tasks.

Coordinator of Learning & Engagement

The Coordinator of Learning & Engagement plays a vital role in the coordination and execution of diverse programs offered at Sonoma Botanical Garden. This dynamic position involves coordinating logistics for activities, tours, lectures, workshops, and classes aimed at engaging audiences of all ages. This position collaborates closely with the Visitor Experience Team, leadership, garden volunteers, and community partners to ensure the seamless delivery of enriching experiences for our visitors.

Visitor Experience Associate, Part-time

As a member of the visitor experience team, the Visitor Experience Associate (VEA) welcomes guests, processes transactions including merchandise, ticket, and membership sales, and acts as an ambassador for the Garden’s mission while creating a positive visitor experience. As a representative of the Garden, VEAs are curious, enthusiastic, and caring individuals who create an inclusive environment and authentic invitation for all guests to engage with the Garden. VEAs spend 100% of their time on front-facing activities within the Welcome Center.
